SC Digital Signage Request Form

Welcome to Student Centers' Digital Signage request form. We are honored to provide student organizations and UH departments with digital advertising throughout the Student Centers.

Please read the Artwork Submission Guidelines below, along with the Policy and Restrictions, before completing the form and submitting your request.

Those wishing to post to the SC Marquee and Digital screens must submit artwork at least 1 week before desired posting date.

  • All files must be submitted as a PNG or JPEG and saved at 72 dpi.

  • File sizes should not exceed 5 MB.

  • Save the file with the name formatted as seen below: dateofevent_nameofevent.jpeg (or  PNG) 

Standard Digital Screen (located in and around the Student Center North & South) 

  • Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels Please design with  these dimensions in mind
  • Stretched or pixelated images will not show clearly and will not be posted on the digital screens

Indoor Marquee (located above Starbucks) 

  • Dimensions: 3840 x 1080 pixels

  • Please design with these dimensions in mind

  • Stretched or pixelated images will not show clearly and will not be posted on marquee

Outdoor Marquee (located in front SC Circle Drive) 

  • Dimensions: 132 x 66 pixels
  • Artwork may consist of banners that consist of only text.
  • The most prominent looks are sharp logos that include text references to website, dates/time and or location.
  • The rule of thumb on messages is 7 words or less.
  • Should not include photographs.
  • Use large (or bolded) text for best results; small, thin font does not display well.
  • Please design with these dimensions in mind
  • Stretched or pixelated images will not show clearly and will not be posted on marquee

 Policy and Restrictions


All Student Centers Marquee and Digital Screen posting requests must be submittedthrough the *SC Digital Signage Request Form, 1 week prior to posting. Requests will not be accepted over the phone or via email.

Artwork should NOT include:

  • Commercial advertisements

  • Alcohol advertisements

  • Political campaigning of any kind

  • Disrespectful, Inflammatory, or Derogatory language or imagery

The Marquees cannot be reserved for live messaging or video, including movies. 

Only UH Departments and Registered Student Organizations may submit requests to post information on the marquee.

Only on-campus programs, events, and activities open to all UH students will be posted on the marquee and digital screens.  

Student Centers’ sponsored events, such as national and regional conferences or events can receive a complimentary welcome message post on the marquee and digital screens.

All approved posts can be displayed on the Marquees and Digital Screens daily rotation for a maximum of 30 days, after which a new request must be submitted.

All submitted artwork must be properly formatted (correct dimensions and DPI), or the request will be denied so it can be resubmitted correctly.

 

*Please note: You do not need to sign into Get Involved to submit the SC Digital Sign request form. However, signing into Get Involved will allow you to receive all notifications regarding the status of your submission.
