Health Students Association

1. Strive to educate about health-based careers and promote healthy lifestyle choices amongst our student body. Health Students Association’s mission is “to improve the quality of life through health promotion and education among the students and staff at the University of Houston as well as our local community” 
2. Discuss and learn about current public health issues.
3. Provide health-related volunteer opportunities in the community.
4. Host guest speakers from various health-related fields.
5.  Sponsor or participate in career-based or educational-based events held at the College of Education or the University of Houston where students may seek internships, jobs, and information from representatives of various corporations and organizations.
